Meet Our Doctors

Meet Dr. Dale Davis
Orthodontics is never dull. I recommend it as a career for all my patients! There are always new and interesting people and patients in the office to talk to and the uniqueness of each keeps it fresh. I love interacting with my patients and families, and getting to know them and what interests them. I learn a lot from them and it keeps my practice and life interesting and exciting! Orthodontics is the culmination of everything I love. I love being around people! The adolescent patients keep me young and laughing. I also love the artistic side of orthodontics and creating a beautiful, healthy smile!

I attended the University of Illinois at Champaign for my Bachelor of Science in 1988 and continued at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor where I earned my Doctor of Dental Surgery in 1992. I completed my certificate in orthodontics at the University of Illinois in Chicago in 1994.

I have always embraced the newest technology in order to give my patients the best care possible. Our office was the first in our area to use Invisalign® and Invisalign Teen®, the iTero™ digital scanner, AcceleDent®, and temporary anchorage devices. I complete many more hours of continuing education than are required because I know it makes me a better orthodontist. I am also a member of the Northern Michigan Orthodontic Study Club, as well as the American Association of Orthodontists and the Michigan Association of Orthodontists.

My wife Lisa and I have four wonderful children, Alec, Madeline, Elizabeth, and Julia, with whom I love spending time! I enjoy skiing and am an avid runner, having completed 11 marathons. For more than a decade, I have also been involved with the Make-A-Wish and its summer fundraiser, a 300-mile, three-day bike ride. I also enjoy history and genealogy; I am proud to say that I have traced my roots to ancestors in Wales, England, Ireland, and people who fought in the Revolutionary War.

Meet Dr. Lisa Davis
I am honored to be able to call myself an orthodontist and help people smile every day. It is great to know I affect a person’s image and self-esteem in such a positive way. Regardless of their age, each one of my patients has something very important to share with me. It is always amazing to see an adolescent patient start their braces and then finish treatment as a young adult. Their transformations are why I love what I do.

I attended Kalamazoo College where I graduated with my Bachelor of Arts in 1989. I received my Doctor of Dental Surgery from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, in 1993 and proceeded to earn my master’s and certificate in orthodontics in 1996. I have been proud to serve the Midland community since 1996.

It is crucial to keep up with new techniques and technology. I take many different types of continuing education courses each year to stay up to date. I also stay involved with the greater dental community by being an active member of the American Association of Orthodontists, the Great Lakes Association of Orthodontists, and the Michigan Association of Orthodontists.

I am a native of Grosse Pointe Woods, Michigan and have lived in Midland since 1996. I love spending much of my time, both at work and at home, with my husband Dale. We have a son, Alec, and three daughters, Madeline, Elizabeth, and Julia, who keep us busy with their many activities.

Meet Our Staff

Hi! I have worked at Davis & Davis for 5 years and I love seeing how happy everyone is with their smile once they are done with treatment.

My husband and I have two kids in college, as well as a black lab, Bella, and our cat Ike. When I'm not at work I love to travel and hang out with my family as well as paint, draw and read. I graduated from the University of Michigan so I am a big Wolverine fan. Go Blue!

I have been working for Dr. Dale and Dr. Lisa for 18 years. There are always fun things going on in our office and it is never boring! My co-workers are my family away from home. I am truly blessed to work with such a great team. I love seeing the difference we make in peoples' lives. Seeing the before and after pictures of our patients is so satisfying and one my favorite parts of my job. I love being a part of creating confident smiles!!!

When I am not at work, I love to spend time with my family, both human and furry critters. I enjoy being outdoors riding my bike, hiking in the woods with our dog, ice skating, rollerblading and traveling. I enjoy reading historical fiction and I love anything having to do with the arts- love plays, concerts, museums, music, music, music!

Someday, I would love to visit the UK to connect with my English and Scottish roots.
